According to official statements from Ubisoft, the global launch of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced took place on July 9, 2026. This is the latest addition to the company's flagship historical action-adventure franchise. The enhanced version is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam, where it is fully verified for the Steam Deck portable console. Additionally, it is included in the Ubisoft+ subscription service catalog.
The production of the title was led by Ubisoft Singapore, the studio responsible for the comprehensive reconstruction of the original 2013 masterpiece. The project was built entirely on the latest version of the Anvil game engine, allowing for a deep visual renovation that meets current-generation standards, as well as a structural optimization of its gameplay mechanics.
The game's plot transports players to the Golden Age of Piracy, a period spanning the 17th and early 18th centuries characterized by maritime plunder in the Caribbean. The chronicle follows the steps of Edward Kenway, a rebellious pirate captain who becomes entangled in the historic, secret conflict between the Order of Assassins and the Templar Order. While sailing the Caribbean waters in search of fortune, the protagonist interacts with legendary historical figures such as Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, and Calico Jack.
