Argentina Transfers $3.4 Trillion Pesos for Disability Support and Boosts Health Coverage
In a recent Federal Health Council (COFESA) meeting, Argentina's Ministry of Health reported record transfers of over $3.4 trillion pesos to provinces for disability support in 2026. Additionally, $234 billion pesos were allocated for oncology and high-cost medications, and a $244 million investment in vaccines was announced. New mandatory notifications for stroke and heart failure were also introduced.
