Carolina Fal Breaks Silence After 20 Years Away from Acting: Her Blunt Response

30/06/2026 04:48 - Entretenimiento

A Brilliant Career Mysteriously Interrupted

Carolina Fal was one of the most recognized actresses on Argentine television. She won the Martín Fierro Award for Best Actress for her extraordinary work in Resistiré, the successful Telefe telenovela starred by Pablo Echarri and Celeste Cid in 2003. However, when she was at the peak of her career, she made a surprising decision: to permanently move away from the artistic world.

Her television debut was in 1990 in Clave de Sol, and from then on she participated in numerous successful shows: La Banda del Golden Rocket, Zona de riesgo, Alta comedia, De corazón, Tiempo final, and El tiempo no para, among others. In theater, she demonstrated her versatility with plays like La casa de Bernarda Alba, Panorama desde el puente, Casa de muñecas, and La Venus de las pieles.

Note: The Martín Fierro Award is the most prestigious television award in Argentina, similar to the Emmys in the United States.

📚 Artistic Career

  • 1990: Debut in Clave de Sol
  • 2003: Martín Fierro Award for Best Actress
  • Television: Resistiré, La Banda del Golden Rocket, Tiempo final
  • Theater: La casa de Bernarda Alba, Casa de muñecas, La malasangre

⚕️ New Professional Life

  • 2007: Started medical school
  • 2014: Graduated from Universidad Austral
  • Hospital: Worked at Hospital Muñiz
  • Family: Married to Santo Biasatti, two daughters

The Response That Closed Any Possibility

Journalist Hernán Firpo from the newspaper Clarín attempted to conduct an interview. To do so, he contacted her husband Santo Biasatti, the renowned journalist and former host of Telenoche (a major Argentine news program). Biasatti simply replied: "I'LL ASK HER", written in capital letters.

Shortly after, a WhatsApp message arrived that surprised Firpo: it was Carolina Fal herself writing from her husband's phone. Her response was blunt and definitive:

"I am Carolina. Look, I am not interested in anything related to the media. It is a place I don't belong to and don't want to return to. I no longer enjoy having things published about me, in fact, I don't even like it happening, so I can't help you with this. Best regards."

This message represents the only public words Carolina Fal has spoken in nearly two decades about her decision to distance herself from the show business world.

A Radical and Voluntary Life Change

Unlike many figures who retire due to conflicts or problems in the industry, Carolina Fal's decision appears to have been completely voluntary and well-thought-out. In 2007, she started studying medicine at Universidad Austral, graduated in 2014, and later worked at Hospital Muñiz, consolidating a totally different career from the one that made her famous.

Her marriage to Santo Biasatti and the raising of her two daughters completed a picture of private life that she herself defined as "a place I belong to", in contrast to the show business world she chose to stay away from.

Hospital Muñiz is a major public hospital in Buenos Aires specializing in infectious diseases, known for its work during health crises.
