On Sunday, June 28, 2026, family, friends, and colleagues from the Argentine entertainment industry gathered to bid farewell to Ernestina Pais, a beloved television personality who passed away on Friday, June 26 at age 54 in a tragic train accident in Martínez, San Isidro (a northern suburb of Buenos Aires). The wake was held at Zucotti funeral home in Villa Crespo, and her remains were transferred to the Actors' Pantheon at Chacarita Cemetery — a historic burial site where many of Argentina's most celebrated performers rest.
