The gaming universe took a significant leap forward this Monday when Valve officially launched the new Steam Machine, a compact desktop device arriving with an ambitious promise: running AAA titles in 4K resolution at 60 FPS using FSR technology, all within a device measuring just 15 centimeters on each side.
For those unfamiliar with the gaming landscape, Steam is the world's largest digital video game distribution platform, developed by Valve Corporation. Think of it as the "Netflix of video games" but where you purchase and own each title. Steam has over 132 million monthly active users globally and offers tens of thousands of games.
The new Steam Machine represents Valve's continued effort to bring PC gaming into the living room, bridging the gap between traditional consoles and powerful gaming computers.
