Blender is a popular Argentine streaming channel founded by content creators Juan Ruffo, Manu Jove, and Fio Sargenti. It has become one of the most important digital content platforms in Argentina, producing series, documentaries, and entertainment programs with high production values comparable to traditional television.
On June 14, 2026 at 8:59 AM local time, two helicopters collided mid-air over the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood in western Rio de Janeiro, subsequently crashing into an electric vehicle parking lot.

According to Brazilian media outlet O Globo, the helicopter with registration PP-MAC (Bell 206B), owned by Oswaldo de Luca Filho, presented irregularities in its accounting documents. The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) had already fined the owner in July 2025 with 8,000 reais (approximately 1,500 USD) for failing to submit required documentation.
The collision occurred over Avenida das Américas, a commercial area in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood. First responders described a devastating scene: scattered fuselage debris, a dense column of black smoke, and a chain of explosions that caused panic among local residents.
The CENIPA (Brazil's Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents) is currently investigating the causes of the accident. One of the helicopters crashed into a BYD dealership, destroying approximately 20 electric vehicles.
