Manu Urcera, a well-known figure in Argentine motorsports, visited the studios of El Trece (Channel 13, one of Argentina's leading television networks) to participate in Almorzando con Juana. This popular talk show, hosted by actress and presenter Juana Viale, is famous for its intimate chats with celebrities over lunch. During the broadcast, Urcera shared personal details about his family life with model and TV host Nicole Neumann, specifically about raising their son, Cruz, who is approaching his second birthday.
The conversation took an unexpected turn when Viale asked what he thought about giving a motorcycle to a child at age four. Urcera's response completely stunned the studio.
"I already bought him a motorcycle; he's about to turn two. Santa Claus brought it," Urcera recounted with a laugh, while a fellow guest joked that the purchase wasn't the driver's fault but rather the festive character's doing.
Amidst the amazement of the hosts, Urcera clarified that the vehicle comes with training wheels and that the toddler thoroughly enjoys riding it. "It's an electric motorcycle, but it runs like a real bike, like a 50cc," the driver described, comparing the toy's feel to a small-engine motorcycle suitable for beginners.
Far from regretting the decision, Manu defended the gift by explaining that such toys contribute to child development: "We also gave one to my nephew when he was little, and it helped him learn to ride a bicycle quickly because he mastered the balance early on."
He added that Cruz also has a balance bike (a bicycle without pedals) which he uses frequently at home, proving that the family's passion for vehicles runs in the blood.
While Nicole Neumann—a renowned Argentine model and television personality—did not comment on this specific gift during the show, she has previously spoken about her husband's parenting style. She acknowledged that while Manu dedicates significant time to his racing career, he remains present and is a "devoted father" (or "padrazo" in local slang), deeply committed to raising little Cruz.
The couple, who have been together for several years, often share family moments on social media, including family vacations that help dispel occasional rumors of marital issues in the press.
Electric ride-on toys for children are popular and can offer specific developmental benefits when used safely:
Models with training wheels are recommended for toddlers and usually maintain safe speeds suitable for their age group.
