Una mujer en el interior de una casa moderna se levanta del suelo mientras varias personas a su alrededor parecen asistirla, con una cocina visible al fondo.
The live broadcast of Gran Hermano Generación Dorada (Telefe) was briefly interrupted on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The cause was a new fall by Andrea del Boca in the kitchen, the same location where she suffered a previous accident that forced her to leave the reality show in April.
Andrea del Boca is one of Argentina's most beloved actresses, often called the "Queen of Telenovelas." With a career spanning over four decades, she has starred in iconic Argentine soap operas like "El árbol azul" and "Perla Negra." Her participation in Gran Hermano Generación Dorada (a celebrity edition of Big Brother featuring personalities over 50) has captivated audiences, showcasing her resilience and humor.
Gran Hermano is Argentina's version of the globally popular Big Brother reality show format, where contestants live together in a house under constant surveillance. Telefe, the network broadcasting the show, is one of Argentina's largest television channels.
According to reports from La Nueva and Infobae, the incident occurred when the actress tripped and failed to brace herself before hitting the ground. Juanicar, Charlotte, and Cola (fellow contestants) were the first to rush to her aid. Production briefly cut the signal, creating uncertainty among viewers.
When transmission resumed, Del Boca was seated in the living room. Far from being discouraged, the actress downplayed the blow and blamed the flip-flops she was wearing. In a clear statement of intent, she sang loudly: "No me vas a sacar" ("You won't get me out"), referencing her ongoing conflict with fellow contestant Solange Abraham.
The new accident takes on added significance due to the earlier incident in April 2026. On that occasion, the fall was much more serious: the actress hit the ground face-first, lost two teeth, and required surgery. The images showed a bleeding Del Boca calling out for her mother.
After receiving medical clearance, the actress returned to the Gran Hermano house, making her re-entry one of the most talked-about moments of the season. This time, the impact was less severe, according to her own account to her fellow contestants.
In Gran Hermano, "la placa" refers to the nomination board where contestants face elimination. Being in the "positive plate" (placa positiva) means being safe from elimination for that week. Andrea del Boca was saved in week 15's nomination ceremony.
The images of the incident quickly went viral on X (formerly Twitter). Fans of the show expressed concern and also some disbelief at another fall in the same location. Messages like "This can't be happening, she fell just like last time" or "Things keep happening to her!" flooded the social network.
Currently, Andrea del Boca remains in the competition after being saved in week 15. Production has not issued an official statement about any major consequences, and all signs point to the actress continuing in the reality show, demonstrating the fighting spirit that has characterized her throughout her legendary career.
