Argentina's Country Risk Falls to 8-Year Low, Opening Doors to Global Investment
S&P's credit rating upgrade to 'B-' has positioned Argentina's country risk at 437 basis points—the lowest level since May 2018. This regulatory milestone unlocks restrictions that previously prevented institutional funds from investing in Argentine assets, potentially expanding the pool of eligible investment capital from USD 150-250 billion to over USD 300 billion according to market estimates.
