Yellow Alert for Extreme Cold in Buenos Aires: Sub-Zero Temperatures Expected

Argentina's National Meteorological Service has issued a yellow alert for extreme cold temperatures this Sunday, June 14. The Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area and several provinces will face minimum temperatures of 3°C (37°F) and maximums of 10°C (50°F). Some areas in Buenos Aires Province will experience temperatures below freezing.

El Servicio Meteorológico Nacional actualizó sus proyecciones para junio, julio y agosto anticipando un episodio de El Niño con 60% de probabilidad. Se esperan temperaturas superiores a las habituales en gran parte del país y lluvias por encima de los promedios en Buenos Aires, La Pampa, Corrientes y Misiones.

Alerta amarilla en Córdoba: se avecinan tormentas intensas con ráfagas de viento

El Servicio Meteorológico Nacional y el Observatorio Hidrometeorológico de Córdoba emitieron un alerta para este sábado 21 de febrero. Se esperan precipitaciones abundantes, actividad eléctrica y vientos que podrían superar los 90 km/h. Las zonas más afectadas serían el centro y sur provincial, con acumulados de hasta 110 milímetros.
