According to reports from Infobae and La Nación, starting July 31, 2026, the popular streaming platform will suspend its native app on smart TVs that no longer meet minimum security and performance requirements.
Netflix constantly updates its architecture to improve video compression and add new features. When a device—usually released before 2015—becomes outdated:
