ARA San Juan Crew Member: "I Was Not Afraid to Set Sail"
Juan Gabriel Viana, one of two survivors from the submarine's final crew, testified at the trial that he considered the vessel operationally sound. His departure in Ushuaia was due to a pre-arranged mission with Brazil, not fear of the upcoming journey.
