Pakistan Abolishes Period Tax: Historic Win for Women's Rights

Pakistan's government has eliminated all taxes on menstrual products following a groundbreaking campaign led by two young lawyers. The historic decision removes the so-called 'period tax' that treated feminine hygiene as a luxury. Contraceptives will also become tax-free in a major step toward menstrual justice and reproductive health access.
