Simultaneously, import rules were unified: a $400 duty-free allowance and up to 5 shipments per year now apply equally to both Correo Argentino and private couriers.
International purchases via courier have skyrocketed, doubling in the first semester thanks to platforms like Shein and Temu. May alone saw a peak of USD 115 million, consolidating this mechanism as a key player in Argentina's foreign trade landscape and signaling a massive shift in consumer habits.
