Neuquén Proposes Historic Minimum Wage for 68,000 State Workers: A Deal That Excites Unions
The government of Rolando Figueroa has presented an offer setting a minimum net salary of $1,560,000 starting in August 2026, plus extraordinary bonuses and quarterly CPI adjustments. Minister Jorge Tobares called it the most protective wage agreement in the country. Workers will vote on the proposal in assemblies this Friday.
