Since August 7, 2026, Netflix has added a new South Korean production to its catalog that promises to break traditional romance molds. Under the international title Our Sticky Love and known in Spanish as Acaramelados, this limited series combines the sweetness of romantic comedy with the tension of a crime thriller.
What's the story about?
The story follows Go Eun-sae, an ambitious prosecutor specializing in anti-corruption cases who, after an attack linked to the local mafia, completely loses her memory. When she wakes up in a rural clinic with no recollection of her past, Jang Tae-ha, a former boxer with a turbulent history, appears claiming to be her boyfriend.
To protect her from the hitmen still looking for her, Tae-ha decides to maintain this lie and takes her to a small town famous for its traditional candy shops. There, coexistence triggers hilarious situations and an unexpected romance, while Eun-sae tries to discover who she really was before the accident and whether she can trust the man by her side.

The meaning behind the title
A fascinating detail of the production is its original Korean title, Ireon Yeot Gateun Sarang, and the name of the village where part of the story takes place. Both play with the term yeot, a traditional Korean candy that is extremely sticky. This word works as a metaphor for a destiny from which it's impossible to break away, ironically contrasting with the sweetness of the story.
