A New Chapter for Tech Employment in Argentina
The multinational founded by Elon Musk is making a historic move into the Argentine market. Through an official announcement, Tesla confirmed it is seeking local talent to join its team, marking the beginning of its long-awaited arrival in the country.
The news was shared by Samantha Conti, Tesla’s Senior Recruiter for Latin America, who expressed her excitement on social media: “Argentina, here we go! At Tesla we are thrilled to announce our arrival in Argentina. We are looking for people passionate about innovation, technology, and who want to make a positive impact on the world.”
This expansion comes as part of Tesla’s broader strategy to increase its presence in Latin America, following recent openings in Chile and Brazil. Argentina, with its growing interest in sustainable energy and electric vehicles, represents a key market for the company.
Open Positions and Profiles
Tesla has published seven full-time positions, focused on two main areas: customer service and technical support. The roles are:
- Tesla Advisor and Sales: Guiding customers through the purchase process.
- Associate Sales Manager and Tesla Advisor, Delivery: Managing vehicle deliveries and post-sale support.
- Service Advisor and Associate Service Manager: Coordinating service teams and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Service Technician: Performing professional maintenance on electric vehicles, including battery systems and software updates.
These roles require a mix of technical knowledge and customer-facing skills, reflecting Tesla’s direct-to-consumer sales model.
Where and How to Apply
The vacancies are concentrated in Buenos Aires City (the capital) and Munro, a suburb in the northern part of Greater Buenos Aires. This suggests Tesla’s initial operations will be based in the metropolitan area, home to over 15 million people and Argentina’s main economic hub.
Interested candidates can visit Tesla’s official careers portal at tesla.com/careers and filter by location (Argentina) or category. The application process is entirely online, and Tesla encourages applicants to highlight their passion for sustainability and innovation.
